NAH NAH, NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH Bend down and tie the laces, tie the laces of your shoes Slow down there are no races. There are no races you can lose Just so many steps to walk … so many words to talk Fighting your days … by the clock Just so many breaths to be taken .. so many days to awaken Living a life … Unforsaken Bend down and tie the laces, tie the laces of your shoes Slow down there are no races. There are no races you can lose Look in the mirror… there are no faces you can choose Bend down and tie the laces, tie the laces of your shoes.

That’s Li’l Organ Abner, at his organ again... Dear friends, as you dive through this life, The first rule is, Don’t Be Afraid— And even if you are afraid, don’t act like you are! And so I say unto you… Close your eyes and you’ll see even more than this Close your eyes and you’ll see even more… There is a voice…that thrills the wind It speaks of all that ends and then begins The first time I…really felt alive Was when I opened up and let it in! There is a grace… that fills this space It can be your home in any place The light of life…shining through our lives We’re bathing in the blaze of what it rays! Hear this song…It goes on and on… Then sing along…It grows so strong! And through the rain…you’ll see again… A little trace…in every face! Close your eyes and you’ll see even more than this Close your eyes and you’ll see even more Deep inside is a sky and an ocean wind Blowing high through your mind’s open door There is an ache…that we can’t shake It fills us with such feeling that we quake But the tears we cry…purify our eyes And show us diamond clear what road to take! Hear this song…It goes on and on… Then sing along…It grows so strong! And through the rain…you’ll see again… A little trace…in every face!

When I was younger, so much younger than I am I had a path that showed me…which way to begin I had my parents, God knows they tried They gave me their all ‘til…my parents died I was homeless, an urchin, lost out on the street…I had nothing, I had no one, my life was incomplete I took my money, what little I had, and I gambled it away on the promise of a future Of a brand-new day… I met somebody…who tempted me…with love… I had nothing to relate to, no common way to know… this was true love I had excitement, I had endearment, I had closeness, I had everything that looked like love But it was nothing, it was helpless, it was hopeless— It left me in a bind … That love I couldn’t find … Had me staggering blind … For such a long time When I found my freedom, I knew myself one day I had a token, I had a rhythm, I had a song to play But now I’m older, there’s not much more of me left—it’s a question: just what to do? I have so little time, I must impart my knowledge on to you So all you people, anyone who listens, just remember this: When you get older, there is so much more to be missed…the love that gets away, you can find it every day

Loving Thing 03:21
Hey brother—what you going through? Such bother—and it ain’t nothing new SOUL LINES…You hold the soul lines and you glow like a loving thing OUR LIVES…Flow through soul lines and they roll like a gushing, oh ever-rushing wind Our mother—is getting torn in two Some buggers—know just what they do SOUL LINES…You hold the soul lines and you glow like a loving thing OUR LIVES…Flow through soul lines and they roll like a gushing, oh ever-rushing wind You lovers—throw a golden glow To others—who feel the glow and grow SOUL LINES…You hold the soul lines and you glow like a loving thing OUR LIVES…Flow through soul lines and they roll like a gushing, oh ever-rushing wind SOUL LINES…You hold the soul lines and you glow like a loving thing OUR LIVES…Flow through soul lines and they roll like a gushing, oh ever-rushing wind

He's Gone 02:49
He’s gone. Like a withered crop in the blazing sun He’s gone. A man was here and now he’s gone You hear his song flow …. Through your head. Where does a life go when a body’s shed? He’s gone He is gone Like an iceberg in the Sun Like a mother’s son in the frozen ground You feel that time stops just for you. Everyone is busy If they only knew Each and every day- coming and going – chase the fears away Each and every day- Mamas still here to brush the tears away Each and every day- coming and going – chase the fears away Each and every day - Mamas still here to brush the tears away He’s gone! He’s gone----

Secrets…keep us…wed in a great web Leave us…these pieces…of thread Reverie…let me see…that gaps between these paths Flashes that…blast the maps…and laugh and laugh All are carrying a heavy load Roaming further down that road Glimpses…lift us…over these bleak fields Meanings…seek us…in dreams All are carrying a heavy load Roaming further down that road Reverie…let me see…that gaps between these paths Flashes that…blast the maps…and laugh and laugh All are carrying a heavy load Roaming further down that road All are carrying a heavy load Roaming further down that road

Living in a motor home in my home town, my hometown Three-day notice on the windshield. Move it round, move it around Rollin’ down the road none of us wants to get towed Parking on the street where I used to live. Nothing to give, nothing to give Thirty-day parking in the Sam Trans lot. Don’t get caught, don’t get caught Rollin’ down the road none of us wants to get towed Our dream has faded A long time ago But we still got our freedom We’ll be traveling down the road Two hour parking on your residential street. I’m sitting in your ejection seat I’m a mollusk and my shell is hard. The pavement is my back-a-yard Rollin’ down the road nowhere to go to call home We’ll be traveling down unraveling down We’ll be traveling down our roads---- We’ll be traveling down our roads------

Facing…knowing What you’ve got…is not a lot Where’s this…going? Signals crossed…lost in thoughts You just want to get away! Dazed in…a grey haze On the street…hard concrete Facing…the faces Then one smiles…like a child And the smile seems to say! I’ll tell you something you forgot you knew We walk among you, and do what you do We live on different avenues Then meet again inside the boogaloo When you’re low, something high is so near When you’re high, the gold in life is so clear I’ll tell you something you forgot you knew We walk among you, and do what you do We live on different avenues Then meet again inside the boogaloo You work and worry, but it’s still true We’ll meet again inside the boogaloo
