about

Well, I had a neighbor kid who lived across the street - gave him a ride to school one day in the rain, stuff like that.

Last year I caught up with his family, you know, how are the kids?". They lowered their eyes .. That kid had died. What do you say?

I wrote this one to connect to them - its for all of us who have experienced loss.

lyrics

He’s gone.
Like a withered crop in the blazing sun
He’s gone.
A man was here and now he’s gone
You hear his song flow …. Through your head.
Where does a life go when a body’s shed?
He’s gone
He is gone
Like an iceberg in the Sun
Like a mother’s son in the frozen ground
You feel that time stops just for you.
Everyone is busy If they only knew
Each and every day- coming and going – chase the fears away
Each and every day- Mamas still here to brush the tears away
Each and every day- coming and going – chase the fears away
Each and every day - Mamas still here to brush the tears away
He’s gone!
He’s gone----
